Psalms 119:125

¹³Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. ¹⁴But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth. ¹⁵This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. ¹⁶For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. ¹⁷But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

¹⁶LORD, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant girl. You have freed me from my chains.

³⁴Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.

⁸The wisdom of the prudent is to think about his way, but the folly of fools is deceit.

⁵But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

¹¹I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

⁶⁶Teach me good judgment and knowledge, for I believe in your commandments.

¹⁸Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law. ¹⁹I am a stranger on the earth. Don’t hide your commandments from me.

¹⁰The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

⁵not that we are sufficient of ourselves to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God, ⁶who also made us sufficient as servants of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
