Psalms 119:66

⁹This I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

¹My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you, ²so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; ³yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding; ⁴if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; ⁵then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. ^6[+] For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding. ⁷He lays up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, ⁸that he may guard the paths of justice, and preserve the way of his saints. ⁹Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path.

⁹Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this great people of yours?”

¹³Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom. ¹⁴But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, don’t boast and don’t lie against the truth. ¹⁵This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. ¹⁶For where jealousy and selfish ambition are, there is confusion and every evil deed. ¹⁷But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. ¹⁸Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

³⁴Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.

¹⁶⁰All of your words are truth. Every one of your righteous ordinances endures forever. SIN AND SHIN

¹²⁸Therefore I consider all of your precepts to be right. I hate every false way. PE

²The LORD’s Spirit will rest on him: the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD. ³His delight will be in the fear of the LORD. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears; ⁴but he will judge the poor with righteousness, and decide with equity for the humble of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth; and with the breath of his lips he will kill the wicked.

¹¹He answered them, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.

¹⁷²Let my tongue sing of your word, for all your commandments are righteousness.
