Mark 4:38

⁷casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

¹⁵For we don’t have a high priest who can’t be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but one who has been in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

⁶For the LORD has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off,” says your God. ⁷“For a small moment I have forsaken you, but I will gather you with great mercies. ⁸In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting loving kindness I will have mercy on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer.

²⁵The disciples came to him and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”

²⁴They came to him and awoke him, saying, “Master, Master, we are dying!” He awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water; then they ceased, and it was calm.

⁹Awake, awake, put on strength, arm of the LORD! Awake, as in the days of old, the generations of ancient times. Isn’t it you who cut Rahab in pieces, who pierced the monster? ¹⁰Isn’t it you who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep; who made the depths of the sea a way for the redeemed to pass over?

²⁷Why do you say, Jacob, and speak, Israel, “My way is hidden from the LORD, and the justice due me is disregarded by my God”? ²⁸Haven’t you known? Haven’t you heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t faint. He isn’t weary. His understanding is unsearchable.

²⁷At noon, Elijah mocked them, and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god. Either he is deep in thought, or he has gone somewhere, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he sleeps and must be awakened.”

²⁸They cried aloud, and cut themselves in their way with knives and lances until the blood gushed out on them. ²⁹When midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the evening offering; but there was no voice, no answer, and nobody paid attention.

⁵If you want to seek God diligently, make your supplication to the Almighty. ⁶If you were pure and upright, surely now he would awaken for you, and make the habitation of your righteousness prosperous.

⁷“Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more? ⁸Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations? ⁹Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” Selah. ¹⁰Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”
