1 Peter 5:7

²²Cast your burden on the LORD and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.

⁶In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

⁵Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this:

³When I am afraid, I will put my trust in you. ⁴In God, I praise his word. In God, I put my trust. I will not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

²⁵Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ²⁶See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?

³³But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. ³⁴Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.

⁵Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”⁶So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

¹⁵The LORD’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

²²He said to his disciples, “Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor yet for your body, what you will wear.

¹³I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. ¹⁴Wait for the LORD. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the LORD.
