Hebrews 2:1

¹⁵Those in the good ground, these are those who with an honest and good heart, having heard the word, hold it tightly, and produce fruit with perseverance.

¹²Therefore I will not be negligent to remind you of these things, though you know them and are established in the present truth. ¹³I think it right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you,

¹My son, keep my words. Lay up my commandments within you. ²Keep my commandments and live! Guard my teaching as the apple of your eye.

¹My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you, ²so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding; ³yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding; ⁴if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; ⁵then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God. ^6[+] For the LORD gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

⁹Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children—

¹God, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, ²has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds.

¹This is now, beloved, the second letter that I have written to you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by reminding you

¹⁵Yes, I will make every effort that you may always be able to remember these things even after my departure.

¹¹Take good heed therefore to yourselves, that you love the LORD your God.

¹²“But if you do at all go back, and hold fast to the remnant of these nations, even these who remain among you, and make marriages with them, and go in to them, and they to you;

²¹My son, let them not depart from your eyes. Keep sound wisdom and discretion,
