Joshua 23:11

⁵Only take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to keep his commandments, to hold fast to him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

⁵You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. ⁶These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; ⁷and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. ⁸You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes. ⁹You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.

¹⁰It shall be, when the LORD your God brings you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you, great and goodly cities which you didn’t build, ¹¹and houses full of all good things which you didn’t fill, and cisterns dug out which you didn’t dig, vineyards and olive trees which you didn’t plant, and you shall eat and be full; ¹²then beware lest you forget the LORD, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

²⁸We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

²⁰But you, beloved, keep building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. ²¹Keep yourselves in God’s love, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

²³Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life.

⁶and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

¹⁵looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you and many be defiled by it,

³But anyone who loves God is known by him.

²²If any man doesn’t love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be cursed.^[+] Come, Lord!

⁹Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children—
