Romans 9:19

³⁵All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him, “What are you doing?”

⁶and he said, “LORD, the God of our fathers, aren’t you God in heaven? Aren’t you ruler over all the kingdoms of the nations? Power and might are in your hand, so that no one is able to withstand you.

³⁵But someone will say, “How are the dead raised?” and, “With what kind of body do they come?”

¹²Now if Christ is preached, that he has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

¹²Behold, he snatches away. Who can hinder him? Who will ask him, ‘What are you doing?’ ¹³“God will not withdraw his anger. The helpers of Rahab stoop under him. ¹⁴How much less will I answer him, and choose my words to argue with him? ¹⁵Though I were righteous, yet I wouldn’t answer him. I would make supplication to my judge.

¹³But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? What his soul desires, even that he does. ¹⁴For he performs that which is appointed for me. Many such things are with him.

²¹For the Son of Man goes as it is written about him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would be better for that man if he had not been born.”

⁶I will send him against a profane nation, and against the people who anger me I will give him a command to take the plunder and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets. ⁷However, he doesn’t mean so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy, and to cut off not a few nations.

¹⁹If it is a matter of strength, behold, he is mighty! If of justice, ‘Who,’ says he, ‘will summon me?’

¹⁰I declare the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done. I say: My counsel will stand, and I will do all that I please. ¹¹I call a ravenous bird from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. Yes, I have spoken. I will also bring it to pass. I have planned. I will also do it.
