Job 9:19

³²For he is not a man, as I am, that I should answer him, that we should come together in judgment. ³³There is no umpire between us, that might lay his hand on us both.

⁴God is wise in heart, and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against him and prospered?

²⁵because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

¹¹God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.

⁹Or do you have an arm like God? Can you thunder with a voice like him? ¹⁰“Now deck yourself with excellency and dignity. Array yourself with honor and majesty.

¹³Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.’

³⁵oh that I had one to hear me! Behold, here is my signature! Let the Almighty answer me! Let the accuser write my indictment!

⁵If you can, answer me. Set your words in order before me, and stand up. ⁶Behold, I am toward God even as you are. I am also formed out of the clay. ⁷Behold, my terror will not make you afraid, neither will my pressure be heavy on you.

¹⁷“But you are full of the judgment of the wicked. Judgment and justice take hold of you. ¹⁸Don’t let riches entice you to wrath, neither let the great size of a bribe turn you aside. ¹⁹Would your wealth sustain you in distress, or all the might of your strength?

²²Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
