Romans 7:12

⁸But we know that the law is good if a person uses it lawfully,

¹³⁷You are righteous, LORD. Your judgments are upright.

⁷The LORD’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple. ⁸The LORD’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. ⁹The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring forever. The LORD’s ordinances are true, and righteous altogether. ¹⁰They are more to be desired than gold, yes, than much fine gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb. ¹¹Moreover your servant is warned by them. In keeping them there is great reward. ¹²Who can discern his errors? Forgive me from hidden errors.

¹⁴For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am fleshly, sold under sin.

¹⁷²Let my tongue sing of your word, for all your commandments are righteousness.

¹³“You also came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from heaven, and gave them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments,

³¹Do we then nullify the law through faith? May it never be! No, we establish the law.

⁸What great nation is there that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law which I set before you today?

¹⁴⁰Your promises have been thoroughly tested, and your servant loves them.

¹²⁷Therefore I love your commandments more than gold, yes, more than pure gold.
