Psalms 51:12

¹⁰Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

⁵But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.

¹⁰I will greatly rejoice in the LORD! My soul will be joyful in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation. He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

¹¹⁶Uphold me according to your word, that I may live. Let me not be ashamed of my hope. ¹¹⁷Hold me up, and I will be safe, and will have respect for your statutes continually.

¹⁷Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

⁴⁷My spirit has rejoiced in God my Savior,

²⁴Now to him who is able to keep them^[+] from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory in great joy,

⁹My soul shall be joyful in the LORD. It shall rejoice in his salvation.

⁹They will come with weeping. I will lead them with petitions. I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they won’t stumble; for I am a father to Israel. Ephraim is my firstborn. ¹⁰“Hear the LORD’s word, you nations, and declare it in the distant islands. Say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.’ ¹¹For the LORD has ransomed Jacob, and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he. ¹²They will come and sing in the height of Zion, and will flow to the goodness of the LORD, to the grain, to the new wine, to the oil, and to the young of the flock and of the herd. Their soul will be as a watered garden. They will not sorrow any more at all. ¹³Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance, the young men and the old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. ¹⁴I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people will be satisfied with my goodness,” says the LORD.

¹⁷I was angry because of the iniquity of his covetousness and struck him. I hid myself and was angry; and he went on backsliding in the way of his heart. ¹⁸I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also, and restore comforts to him and to his mourners.
