2 Corinthians 3:17

^2[+] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

¹³For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don’t use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants to one another.

³²You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

⁶And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba,^[+] Father!”

¹Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don’t be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

¹The Lord GOD’s Spirit is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound,^2[+] to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,

⁶³It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

¹⁵For you didn’t receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, “Abba!^[+] Father!”

¹⁶The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;

⁷For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

¹²Restore to me the joy of your salvation. Uphold me with a willing spirit.
