Psalms 50:21

⁴Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? ⁵But according to your hardness and unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath, revelation, and of the righteous judgment of God,

¹¹“Whom have you dreaded and feared, so that you lie, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? Haven’t I held my peace for a long time, and you don’t fear me?

¹He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy.

⁷They say, “The LORD^[+] will not see, neither will Jacob’s God consider.” ⁸Consider, you senseless among the people; you fools, when will you be wise? ⁹He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear? He who formed the eye, won’t he see? ¹⁰He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish? He who teaches man knows. ¹¹The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.

¹⁴For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it is good, or whether it is evil.

¹¹Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. ¹²Though a sinner commits crimes a hundred times, and lives long, yet surely I know that it will be better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.

⁸You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.

¹⁴“I have been silent a long time. I have been quiet and restrained myself. Now I will cry out like a travailing woman. I will both gasp and pant.

⁵Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

³Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
