Psalms 94:7

³A widow was in that city, and she often came to him, saying, ‘Defend me from my adversary!’ ⁴He wouldn’t for a while; but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,

¹¹He says in his heart, “God has forgotten. He hides his face. He will never see it.” ¹²Arise, LORD! God, lift up your hand! Don’t forget the helpless. ¹³Why does the wicked person condemn God, and say in his heart, “God won’t call me into account”?

¹²It will happen at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps, and I will punish the men who are settled on their dregs, who say in their heart, “The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.”

¹⁵Woe to those who deeply hide their counsel from the LORD, and whose deeds are in the dark, and who say, “Who sees us?” and “Who knows us?”

¹²Then he said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in his rooms of imagery? For they say, ‘The LORD doesn’t see us. The LORD has forsaken the land.’”

⁷Behold, they spew with their mouth. Swords are in their lips, “For”, they say, “who hears us?”

¹²“Isn’t God in the heights of heaven? See the height of the stars, how high they are! ¹³You say, ‘What does God know? Can he judge through the thick darkness?

⁹Then he said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perversion; for they say, ‘The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD doesn’t see.’
