Psalms 120:7

⁹Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

⁴In return for my love, they are my adversaries; but I am in prayer.

¹⁴Depart from evil, and do good. Seek peace, and pursue it.

¹⁴Follow after peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no man will see the Lord,

¹⁸If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.

²⁰For they don’t speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.

¹⁴For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of separation, ¹⁵having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace, ¹⁶and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it. ¹⁷He came and preached peace to you who were far off and to those who were near.

¹⁹I am among those who are peaceable and faithful in Israel. You seek to destroy a city and a mother in Israel. Why will you swallow up the LORD’s inheritance?”

²⁰He raises his hands against his friends. He has violated his covenant.

²Then Saul arose and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph. ³Saul encamped in the hill of Hachilah, which is before the desert, by the way. But David stayed in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness. ⁴David therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul had certainly come.
