Psalms 119:175

³Turn your ear, and come to me. Hear, and your soul will live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

¹⁴Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness. ¹⁵Lord, open my lips. My mouth will declare your praise.

¹⁹The living, the living, he shall praise you, as I do today. The father shall make known your truth to the children.

⁸Yes, in the way of your judgments, LORD, we have waited for you. Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul. ⁹With my soul I have desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me I will seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

¹⁸The LORD^[+] has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death. ¹⁹Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to the LORD.

³¹For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged. ³²But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

⁹“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth?

²⁸We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

⁷⁵LORD, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

¹³Have mercy on me, LORD. See my affliction by those who hate me, and lift me up from the gates of death, ¹⁴that I may show all of your praise. I will rejoice in your salvation in the gates of the daughter of Zion.
