Psalms 107:19

³⁴When he killed them, then they inquired after him. They returned and sought God earnestly. ³⁵They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God, their redeemer.

⁴I sought the LORD, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. ⁵They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame. ⁶This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

⁴Then I called on the LORD’s name: “LORD, I beg you, deliver my soul.” ⁵The LORD is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful. ⁶The LORD preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me. ⁷Return to your rest, my soul, for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. ⁸For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

⁸I cried to you, LORD. I made supplication to the Lord: ⁹“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare your truth? ¹⁰Hear, LORD, and have mercy on me. LORD, be my helper.” ¹¹You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness, ¹²to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. LORD my God, I will give thanks to you forever!
