Psalms 107:13

²⁸Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.

⁶Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

⁶Israel was brought very low because of Midian; and the children of Israel cried to the LORD.

⁷When the children of Israel cried to the LORD because of Midian, ⁸The LORD sent a prophet to the children of Israel; and he said to them, “The LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you out of the house of bondage. ⁹I delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians and out of the hand of all who oppressed you, and drove them out from before you, and gave you their land. ¹⁰I said to you, “I am the LORD your God. You shall not fear the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell.” But you have not listened to my voice.’”

³The children of Israel cried to the LORD, for he had nine hundred chariots of iron; and he mightily oppressed the children of Israel for twenty years.

¹²When he was in distress, he begged the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. ¹³He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD was God.

⁶In my distress I called on the LORD, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry before him came into his ears.

¹⁹Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses.

³The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol^[+] a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow. ⁴Then I called on the LORD’s name: “LORD, I beg you, deliver my soul.” ⁵The LORD is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful. ⁶The LORD preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.

⁷The LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. ⁸I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey; to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

¹⁰The children of Israel cried to the LORD, saying, “We have sinned against you, even because we have forsaken our God, and have served the Baals.”

¹¹The LORD said to the children of Israel, “Didn’t I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines? ¹²The Sidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, oppressed you; and you cried to me, and I saved you out of their hand. ¹³Yet you have forsaken me and served other gods. Therefore I will save you no more. ¹⁴Go and cry to the gods which you have chosen. Let them save you in the time of your distress!”

¹⁵The children of Israel said to the LORD, “We have sinned! Do to us whatever seems good to you; only deliver us, please, today.” ¹⁶They put away the foreign gods from among them and served the LORD; and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

¹⁷Then the children of Ammon were gathered together and encamped in Gilead. The children of Israel assembled themselves together and encamped in Mizpah. ¹⁸The people, the princes of Gilead, said to one another, “Who is the man who will begin to fight against the children of Ammon? He shall be head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.”
