Psalms 18:6

¹⁵Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”

⁷In my distress, I called on the LORD. Yes, I called to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry came into his ears.

¹⁵The LORD’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

¹Out of the depths I have cried to you, LORD.²Lord, ^[+] hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

¹In my distress, I cried to the LORD. He answered me.

⁴One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, to see the LORD’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple. ⁵For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.

³I call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; and I am saved from my enemies. ⁴The cords of death surrounded me. The floods of ungodliness made me afraid.

²⁷Then the Levitical priests arose and blessed the people. Their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.

²³In the course of those many days, the king of Egypt died, and the children of Israel sighed because of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up to God because of the bondage.

⁵Peter therefore was kept in the prison, but constant prayer was made by the assembly to God for him.
