Proverbs 21:29

¹¹Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way to you.

⁵The righteousness of the blameless will direct his way, but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

¹⁸‘Consider, please, from this day and backward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, since the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid, consider it. ¹⁹Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree haven’t produced. From today I will bless you.’”

⁷“This is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Consider your ways.

²⁸Because he considers, and turns away from all his transgressions that he has committed, he shall surely live. He shall not die.

⁵⁹I considered my ways, and turned my steps to your statutes.

⁵Oh that my ways were steadfast to obey your statutes!

³O LORD, don’t your eyes look on truth? You have stricken them, but they were not grieved. You have consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than a rock. They have refused to return.

¹⁴Blessed is the man who always fears; but one who hardens his heart falls into trouble.

¹He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy.
