Proverbs 16:17

⁸A highway will be there, a road, and it will be called “The Holy Way”. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it will be for those who walk in the Way. Wicked fools shall not go there.

⁹He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out.

¹⁶He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul, but he who is contemptuous in his ways shall die.

²⁴Put away from yourself a perverse mouth. Put corrupt lips far from you. ²⁵Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you. ²⁶Make the path of your feet level. Let all of your ways be established. ²⁷Don’t turn to the right hand nor to the left. Remove your foot from evil.

²¹Keep yourselves in God’s love, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.

¹⁰not stealing, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God, our Savior, in all things. ¹¹For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, ¹²instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present age; ¹³looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, ¹⁴who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people for his own possession, zealous for good works.

¹⁰Because you kept my command to endure, I also will keep you from the hour of testing which is to come on the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

³⁵but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.

¹³But he who endures to the end will be saved.

³⁹But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the saving of the soul.
