Isaiah 26:9

³³But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

⁶²At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you, because of your righteous ordinances.

¹God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.

¹By night on my bed, I sought him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I didn’t find him. ²I will get up now, and go about the city; in the streets and in the squares I will seek him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I didn’t find him. ³The watchmen who go about the city found me; “Have you seen him whom my soul loves?” ⁴I had scarcely passed from them, when I found him whom my soul loves. I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house, into the room of her who conceived me.

⁶when I remember you on my bed, and think about you in the night watches. ⁷For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.

³⁵Early in the morning, while it was still dark, he rose up and went out, and departed into a deserted place, and prayed there.

¹³In that day there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

¹¹so that men shall say, “Most certainly there is a reward for the righteous. Most certainly there is a God who judges the earth.”

¹²In these days, he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.

¹⁷I love those who love me. Those who seek me diligently will find me.
