Psalms 63:6

⁸The LORD ^[+] will command his loving kindness in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: a prayer to the God of my life.

¹⁴⁷I rise before dawn and cry for help. I put my hope in your words. ¹⁴⁸My eyes stay open through the night watches, that I might meditate on your word.

⁵Let the saints rejoice in honor. Let them sing for joy on their beds.

⁵⁵I have remembered your name, LORD, in the night, and I obey your law.

⁴You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak. ⁵I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times. ⁶I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:

¹⁷How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is their sum! ¹⁸If I would count them, they are more in number than the sand. When I wake up, I am still with you.

¹⁹Arise, cry out in the night, at the beginning of the watches! Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift up your hands toward him for the life of your young children, who faint for hunger at the head of every street.

²I was asleep, but my heart was awake. It is the voice of my beloved who knocks: “Open to me, my sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled; for my head is filled with dew, and my hair with the dampness of the night.”

¹By night on my bed, I sought him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I didn’t find him. ²I will get up now, and go about the city; in the streets and in the squares I will seek him whom my soul loves. I sought him, but I didn’t find him.
