Mark 1:35

¹²In these days, he went out to the mountain to pray, and he continued all night in prayer to God.

¹⁸with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.

¹⁶But he withdrew himself into the desert and prayed.

³⁹He came out and went, as his custom was, to the Mount of Olives. His disciples also followed him. ⁴⁰When he was at the place, he said to them, “Pray that you don’t enter into temptation.”

⁴¹He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed, ⁴²saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

⁴³An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him. ⁴⁴Being in agony, he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.

⁴⁵When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping because of grief, ⁴⁶and said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

³LORD, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.

¹⁵Jesus therefore, perceiving that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, withdrew again to the mountain by himself.

⁷He, in the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and petitions with strong crying and tears to him who was able to save him from death, and having been heard for his godly fear,

²³After he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into the mountain by himself to pray. When evening had come, he was there alone.

⁴⁶After he had taken leave of them, he went up the mountain to pray.

⁴⁷When evening had come, the boat was in the middle of the sea, and he was alone on the land. ⁴⁸Seeing them distressed in rowing, for the wind was contrary to them, about the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea;and he would have passed by them,

⁴²When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place and the multitudes looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he wouldn’t go away from them. ⁴³But he said to them, “I must preach the good news of God’s Kingdom to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent.”
