Haggai 2:15

⁵Now therefore this is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Consider your ways.

²⁴Then work stopped on God’s house which is at Jerusalem. It stopped until the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia.

¹⁰When the builders laid the foundation of the LORD’s temple, they set the priests in their vestments with trumpets, with the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, according to the directions of David king of Israel.

⁷“This is what the LORD of Armies says: ‘Consider your ways.

¹⁸‘Consider, please, from this day and backward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, since the day that the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid, consider it.

¹²The harp, lyre, tambourine, and flute, with wine, are at their feasts; but they don’t respect the work of the LORD, neither have they considered the operation of his hands.

⁸Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings. ⁹You are cursed with the curse; for you rob me, even this whole nation. ¹⁰Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says the LORD of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be enough room for. ¹¹I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field,” says the LORD of Armies.

³¹For if we discerned ourselves, we wouldn’t be judged.

²¹What fruit then did you have at that time in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death.

⁴³Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the loving kindnesses of the LORD.
