Ezekiel 33:9

¹⁹Yet if you warn the wicked, and he doesn’t turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he will die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.”

²⁶Therefore I testify to you today that I am clean from the blood of all men,

¹⁰There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way. Whoever hates reproof shall die.

²¹Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous not sin, and he does not sin, he will surely live, because he took warning; and you have delivered your soul.”

³how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation—which at the first having been spoken through the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard,

¹He who is often rebuked and stiffens his neck will be destroyed suddenly, with no remedy.

²⁴I said therefore to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am^[+] he, you will die in your sins.”

¹⁴We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.

¹⁵For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God in those who are saved and in those who perish: ¹⁶to the one a stench from death to death, to the other a sweet aroma from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? ¹⁷For we are not as so many, peddling the word of God. But as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, we speak in Christ.

³For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, ⁴that each one of you know how to control his own body^[+] in sanctification and honor, ⁵not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God, ⁶that no one should take advantage of and wrong a brother or sister in this matter; because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified. ⁷For God called us not for uncleanness, but in sanctification. ⁸Therefore he who rejects this doesn’t reject man, but God, who has also given his Holy Spirit to you.
