Romans 8:15

⁵that he might redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as children. ⁶And because you are children, God sent out the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba,^[+] Father!” ⁷So you are no longer a bondservant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

⁷For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

¹²But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.

¹⁶The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God;

⁵having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire,

¹⁵and might deliver all of them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

³⁶He said, “Abba,^[+] Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.”

¹⁸There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.

¹⁹“But I said, ‘How I desire to put you among the children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the armies of the nations!’ and I said, ‘You shall call me “My Father”, and shall not turn away from following me.’

⁵I will give them in my house and within my walls a memorial and a name better than of sons and of daughters. I will give them an everlasting name that will not be cut off.
