Psalms 99:2

⁹For you, LORD, are most high above all the earth. You are exalted far above all gods.

³²What will they answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD has founded Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people will take refuge.

⁶Cry aloud and shout, you inhabitant of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel is great among you!”

¹In Judah, God is known. His name is great in Israel. ²His tabernacle is also in Salem. His dwelling place in Zion.

²Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.

²²But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels, ²³to the festal gathering and assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, ²⁴to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant,and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.

⁶But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”⁷Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

⁴The LORD is high above all nations, his glory above the heavens.

³⁴At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation. ³⁵All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and no one can stop his hand, or ask him, “What are you doing?”

¹Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, in his holy mountain. ²Beautiful in elevation, the joy of the whole earth, is Mount Zion, on the north sides, the city of the great King. ³God has shown himself in her citadels as a refuge.
