Psalms 97:8

¹¹Let Mount Zion be glad! Let the daughters of Judah rejoice because of your judgments.

²⁰“Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets, for God has judged your judgment on her.”

⁴All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, ⁵“Tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your King comes to you, humble, and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.”

⁶The disciples went and did just as Jesus commanded them, ⁷and brought the donkey and the colt and laid their clothes on them; and he sat on them. ⁸A very great multitude spread their clothes on the road. Others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. ⁹The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna^[+] to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”

¹¹Behold, the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the earth: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Behold, your salvation comes! Behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him!’”

⁹Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you! He is righteous, and having salvation; lowly, and riding on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

⁶The righteous also will see it, and fear, and laugh at him, saying,

¹⁰The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked,

¹After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation, power, and glory belong to our God; ²for his judgments are true and righteous. For he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.”

³A second said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke goes up forever and ever.” ⁴The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, “Amen! Hallelujah!”

⁵A voice came from the throne, saying, “Give praise to our God, all you his servants, you who fear him, the small and the great!”

⁶I heard something like the voice of a great multitude, and like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of mighty thunders, saying, “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns! ⁷Let’s rejoice and be exceedingly glad, and let’s give the glory to him. For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready.”

⁷How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” ⁸Your watchmen lift up their voice. Together they sing; for they shall see eye to eye when the LORD returns to Zion. ⁹Break out into joy! Sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem; for the LORD has comforted his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem. ¹⁰The LORD has made his holy arm bare in the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

³For the LORD has comforted Zion. He has comforted all her waste places, and has made her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in them, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
