Psalms 58:10

²³that you may crush them, dipping your foot in blood, that the tongues of your dogs may have their portion from your enemies.”

⁸You will only look with your eyes, and see the recompense of the wicked.

¹⁷saying: “We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was,^[+] because you have taken your great power and reigned. ¹⁸The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints and those who fear your name, to the small and the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”

¹⁰When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices. When the wicked perish, there is shouting.

¹⁰The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall take refuge in him. All the upright in heart shall praise him!

⁴³Rejoice, you nations, with his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants. He will take vengeance on his adversaries, and will make atonement for his land and for his people.

⁴²The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.

¹⁹The righteous see it, and are glad. The innocent ridicule them,

¹Let God arise! Let his enemies be scattered! Let them who hate him also flee before him. ²As smoke is driven away, so drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. ³But let the righteous be glad. Let them rejoice before God. Yes, let them rejoice with gladness.

³¹“So let all your enemies perish, LORD, but let those who love him be as the sun when it rises in its strength.” Then the land had rest forty years.
