Psalms 7:3

¹¹Moreover, my father, behold, yes, see the skirt of your robe in my hand; for in that I cut off the skirt of your robe and didn’t kill you, know and see that there is neither evil nor disobedience in my hand. I have not sinned against you, though you hunt for my life to take it.

³For, behold, they lie in wait for my soul. The mighty gather themselves together against me, not for my disobedience, nor for my sin, LORD.

¹⁸He said, “Why does my lord pursue his servant? For what have I done? What evil is in my hand? ¹⁹Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it is so that the LORD has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, they are cursed before the LORD; for they have driven me out today that I shouldn’t cling to the LORD’s inheritance, saying, ‘Go, serve other gods!’

¹⁴If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away. Don’t let unrighteousness dwell in your tents.

⁷Shimei said when he cursed, “Be gone, be gone, you man of blood, and wicked fellow! ⁸The LORD has returned on you all the blood of Saul’s house, in whose place you have reigned! The LORD has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son! Behold, you are caught by your own mischief, because you are a man of blood!”

²²“The Mighty One, God, the LORD, the Mighty One, God, the LORD, he knows; and Israel shall know: if it was in rebellion, or if in trespass against the LORD (don’t save us today),

⁸Therefore deal kindly with your servant, for you have brought your servant into a covenant of the LORD with you; but if there is iniquity in me, kill me yourself, for why should you bring me to your father?”

¹⁷although there is no violence in my hands, and my prayer is pure. ¹⁸“Earth, don’t cover my blood. Let my cry have no place to rest. ¹⁹Even now, behold, my witness is in heaven. He who vouches for me is on high.

⁹David said to Saul, “Why do you listen to men’s words, saying, ‘Behold, David seeks to harm you’?

¹³Saul said to him, “Why have you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread, and a sword, and have inquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as it is today?”
