Psalms 77:4

¹³When I say, ‘My bed will comfort me. My couch will ease my complaint,’ ¹⁴then you scare me with dreams and terrify me through visions, ¹⁵so that my soul chooses strangling, death rather than my bones.

⁶I am weary with my groaning. Every night I flood my bed. I drench my couch with my tears.

¹³So they sat down with him on the ground seven days and seven nights, and no one spoke a word to him, for they saw that his grief was very great.

¹On that night, the king couldn’t sleep. He commanded the book of records of the chronicles to be brought, and they were read to the king.

³For now it would be heavier than the sand of the seas, therefore my words have been rash.
