Psalms 50:11

²⁶See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?

²⁰God said, “Let the waters abound with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the sky.” ²¹God created the large sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed, after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind. God saw that it was good. ²²God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.”

²⁴Consider the ravens: they don’t sow, they don’t reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!

²⁹“Aren’^[+] t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin?^[+] Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. ³⁰But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. ³¹Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.

¹³“The wings of the ostrich wave proudly, but are they the feathers and plumage of love? ¹⁴For she leaves her eggs on the earth, warms them in the dust, ¹⁵and forgets that the foot may crush them, or that the wild animal may trample them. ¹⁶She deals harshly with her young ones, as if they were not hers. Though her labor is in vain, she is without fear, ¹⁷because God has deprived her of wisdom, neither has he imparted to her understanding. ¹⁸When she lifts up herself on high, she scorns the horse and his rider.

¹⁵“If I cause evil animals to pass through the land, and they ravage it and it is made desolate, so that no man may pass through because of the animals— ¹⁶though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord GOD, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters. They only would be delivered, but the land would be desolate.

⁹All you animals of the field, come to devour, all you animals in the forest.

⁹He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.

²⁶“Is it by your wisdom that the hawk soars, and stretches her wings toward the south? ²⁷Is it at your command that the eagle mounts up, and makes his nest on high? ²⁸On the cliff he dwells and makes his home, on the point of the cliff and the stronghold. ²⁹From there he spies out the prey. His eyes see it afar off. ³⁰His young ones also suck up blood. Where the slain are, there he is.”

¹²The birds of the sky nest by them. They sing among the branches.
