Matthew 6:26

²⁹“Aren’^[+] t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin?^[+] Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. ³⁰But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. ³¹Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.

⁹He provides food for the livestock, and for the young ravens when they call.

²⁴Consider the ravens: they don’t sow, they don’t reap, they have no warehouse or barn, and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds! ²⁵Which of you by being anxious can add a cubit^[+] to his height? ²⁶If then you aren’t able to do even the least things, why are you anxious about the rest? ²⁷Consider the lilies, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ²⁸But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith?

²⁹“Don’t seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious. ³⁰For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things. ³¹But seek God’s Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you.

³²“Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.

⁴¹Who provides for the raven his prey, when his young ones cry to God, and wander for lack of food?

¹⁵The eyes of all wait for you. You give them their food in due season. ¹⁶You open your hand, and satisfy the desire of every living thing.

²⁷These all wait for you, that you may give them their food in due season. ²⁸You give to them; they gather. You open your hand; they are satisfied with good.

⁶“Aren’t five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? ^[+] Not one of them is forgotten by God. ⁷But the very hairs of your head are all counted. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.

³²For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

²⁹God said, “Behold, ^[+] I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food. ³⁰To every animal of the earth, and to every bird of the sky, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food;” and it was so.

³¹God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. There was evening and there was morning, a sixth day.

⁹Or who is there among you who, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone?
