Psalms 34:19

¹⁷The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

¹²Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you. ¹³But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy.

¹⁷For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory,

⁶This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

³³I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”

⁴I sought the LORD, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

¹¹persecutions, and sufferings—those things that happened to me at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. I endured those persecutions. The Lord delivered me out of them all. ¹²Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

¹⁹He will deliver you in six troubles; yes, in seven no evil will touch you.

¹⁶for a righteous man falls seven times and rises up again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.

⁷But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves. ⁸We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; ⁹pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed; ¹⁰always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. ¹¹For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh. ¹²So then death works in us, but life in you.
