Psalms 33:18

¹²For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.”

¹¹The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his loving kindness.

¹⁵The LORD’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry. ¹⁶The LORD’s face is against those who do evil, to cut off their memory from the earth. ¹⁷The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. ¹⁸The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. ¹⁹Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. ²⁰He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.

⁷He doesn’t withdraw his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne, he sets them forever, and they are exalted.

¹⁸that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

⁸But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in God’s house. I trust in God’s loving kindness forever and ever.

⁵But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.

⁴Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as something owed. ⁵But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness. ⁶Even as David also pronounces blessing on the man to whom God counts righteousness apart from works: ⁷“Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, whose sins are covered. ⁸Blessed is the man whom the Lord will by no means charge with sin.”
