Psalms 26:5

⁶I hate those who regard lying vanities, but I trust in the LORD.

³I will set no vile thing before my eyes. I hate the deeds of faithless men. They will not cling to me. ⁴A perverse heart will be far from me. I will have nothing to do with evil. ⁵I will silence whoever secretly slanders his neighbor. I won’t tolerate one who is arrogant and conceited. ⁶My eyes will be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. He who walks in a perfect way, he will serve me. ⁷He who practices deceit won’t dwell within my house. He who speaks falsehood won’t be established before my eyes. ⁸Morning by morning, I will destroy all the wicked of the land, to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the LORD’s city.

²¹LORD, don’t I hate those who hate you? Am I not grieved with those who rise up against you? ²²I hate them with perfect hatred. They have become my enemies.

¹Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand on the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers;

⁹I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners; ¹⁰yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world. ¹¹But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.

¹¹When the Pharisees saw it, they said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”

¹²When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.
