Psalms 1:1

⁴I have not sat with deceitful men, neither will I go in with hypocrites. ⁵I hate the assembly of evildoers, and will not sit with the wicked.

¹⁴Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. ¹⁵Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on.

²⁰One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.

¹Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the LORD’s law. ²Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.

¹⁷I didn’t sit in the assembly of those who make merry and rejoice. I sat alone because of your hand, for you have filled me with indignation.

¹³“Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. ¹⁴How^[+] narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.

²⁸But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”

⁶For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.

⁸Oh taste and see that the LORD is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

¹⁵my son, don’t walk on the path with them. Keep your foot from their path,
