Psalms 101:1

¹I will sing of the loving kindness of the LORD forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.

⁷They will utter the memory of your great goodness, and will sing of your righteousness.

²²I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, my God. I sing praises to you with the lyre, Holy One of Israel. ²³My lips shall shout for joy! My soul, which you have redeemed, sings praises to you!

¹After these things I heard something like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Hallelujah! Salvation, power, and glory belong to our God; ²for his judgments are true and righteous. For he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and he has avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.”

³A second said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke goes up forever and ever.”

¹⁴Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation. My tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.

³They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are your works, Lord God, the Almighty! Righteous and true are your ways, you King of the nations. ⁴Who wouldn’t fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you only are holy. For all the nations will come and worship before you. For your righteous acts have been revealed.”

⁶The LORD executes righteous acts, and justice for all who are oppressed. ⁷He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the children of Israel. ⁸The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.

¹⁰to him who struck down the Egyptian firstborn, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹¹and brought out Israel from among them, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹²with a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹³to him who divided the Red Sea apart, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁴and made Israel to pass through the middle of it, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁵but overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁶to him who led his people through the wilderness, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁷to him who struck great kings, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁸and killed mighty kings, for his loving kindness endures forever; ¹⁹Sihon king of the Amorites, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²⁰Og king of Bashan, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²¹and gave their land as an inheritance, for his loving kindness endures forever; ²²even a heritage to Israel his servant, for his loving kindness endures forever;

¹⁵For he said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”¹⁶So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who has mercy. ¹⁷For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I caused you to be raised up, that I might show in you my power, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.”¹⁸So then, he has mercy on whom he desires, and he hardens whom he desires.
