Psalms 1:6

¹⁹However, God’s firm foundation stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are his,”and, “Let every one who names the name of the Lord^[+] from unrighteousness.”

¹⁴I am the good shepherd. I know my own, and I’m known by my own;

⁹The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, but he loves him who follows after righteousness.

⁷The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and he knows those who take refuge in him.

¹⁸The LORD knows the days of the perfect. Their inheritance shall be forever. ¹⁹They shall not be disappointed in the time of evil. In the days of famine they shall be satisfied. ²⁰But the wicked shall perish. The enemies of the LORD shall be like the beauty of the fields. They will vanish— vanish like smoke. ²¹The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously. ²²For such as are blessed by him shall inherit the land. Those who are cursed by him shall be cut off. ²³A man’s steps are established by the LORD. He delights in his way. ²⁴Though he stumble, he shall not fall, for the LORD holds him up with his hand.

²⁷My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

¹²There is a way which seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.

⁹The LORD preserves the foreigners. He upholds the fatherless and widow, but he turns the way of the wicked upside down.

¹LORD, you have searched me, and you know me. ²You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar.

¹³“Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it.
