Proverbs 31:10

¹⁴House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.

⁴A worthy woman is the crown of her husband, but a disgraceful wife is as rottenness in his bones.

²²Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the LORD.

²⁵Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her, ²⁶that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, ²⁷that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without defect. ²⁸Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. ²⁹For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly, ³⁰because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. ³¹“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife. Then the two will become one flesh.”³²This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and the assembly. ³³Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

¹⁵She is more precious than rubies. None of the things you can desire are to be compared to her.

⁸There are sixty queens, eighty concubines, and virgins without number. ⁹My dove, my perfect one, is unique. She is her mother’s only daughter. She is the favorite one of her who bore her. The daughters saw her, and called her blessed. The queens and the concubines saw her, and they praised her.

¹¹Now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do to you all that you say; for all the city of my people knows that you are a worthy woman.

¹⁵There is gold and abundance of rubies, but the lips of knowledge are a rare jewel.

²⁸which my soul still seeks, but I have not found. I have found one man among a thousand, but I have not found a woman among all those.

¹¹For wisdom is better than rubies. All the things that may be desired can’t be compared to it.
