Proverbs 24:32

¹¹Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

¹⁷What is man, that you should magnify him, that you should set your mind on him,

⁴Stand in awe, and don’t sin. Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.

¹⁹But Mary kept all these sayings, pondering them in her heart.

²¹All the men of his city shall stone him to death with stones. So you shall remove the evil from among you. All Israel shall hear, and fear.

⁵¹And he went down with them and came to Nazareth. He was subject to them, and his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.

⁵Now I desire to remind you, though you already know this, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who didn’t believe. ⁶Angels who didn’t keep their first domain, but deserted their own dwelling place, he has kept in everlasting bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day. ⁷Even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, having in the same way as these given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are shown as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire.

¹¹All Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall not do any more wickedness like this among you.

²⁹Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

⁶Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted.
