Proverbs 19:23

^6[+] Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

²⁶In the fear of the LORD is a secure fortress, and he will be a refuge for his children. ²⁷The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning people from the snares of death.

¹⁰and if you pour out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light will rise in darkness, and your obscurity will be as the noonday; ¹¹and the LORD will guide you continually, satisfy your soul in dry places, and make your bones strong. You will be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water whose waters don’t fail.

²¹No mischief shall happen to the righteous, but the wicked shall be filled with evil.

⁸For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.

¹⁴Satisfy us in the morning with your loving kindness, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

⁵Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”⁶So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”

¹¹Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. ¹²I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

²⁷The fear of the LORD prolongs days, but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

¹⁶Then those who feared the LORD spoke one with another; and the LORD listened and heard, and a book of memory was written before him for those who feared the LORD and who honored his name. ¹⁷They shall be mine,” says the LORD of Armies, “my own possession in the day that I make. I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.
