Proverbs 1:33

¹²What man is he who fears the LORD? He shall instruct him in the way that he shall choose. ¹³His soul will dwell at ease. His offspring will inherit the land.

⁷He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. ⁸His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.

³You will keep whoever’s mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you.

²⁷My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. ²⁸I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. ²⁹My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand.

²⁶In the fear of the LORD is a secure fortress, and he will be a refuge for his children.

³²“Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways. ³³Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it. ³⁴Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts. ³⁵For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favor from the LORD.

⁹When you hear of wars and disturbances, don’t be terrified, for these things must happen first, but the end won’t come immediately.”

¹¹For by me your days will be multiplied. The years of your life will be increased.

¹⁹“By your endurance you will win your lives.

¹³Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
