Isaiah 26:3

⁷And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

³³I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world.”

²⁷Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

⁷“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose confidence is in the LORD. ⁸For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit.

¹⁰Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you.

¹Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ;

⁷Show us your loving kindness, LORD. Grant us your salvation. ⁸I will hear what God, the LORD, will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, his saints; but let them not turn again to folly.

¹⁸Against hope, Abraham in hope believed, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, “So will your offspring be.”¹⁹Without being weakened in faith, he didn’t consider his own body, already having been worn out, (he being about a hundred years old), and the deadness of Sarah’s womb. ²⁰Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God, ²¹and being fully assured that what he had promised, he was also able to perform.

¹Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek the LORD!

¹⁴For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of separation, ¹⁵having abolished in his flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace, ¹⁶and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility through it.
