Mark 16:14

⁵and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.

³⁶As they said these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace be to you.”

³⁷But they were terrified and filled with fear, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

³⁸He said to them, “Why are you troubled? Why do doubts arise in your hearts? ³⁹See my hands and my feet, that it is truly me. Touch me and see, for a spirit doesn’t have flesh and bones, as you see that I have.” ⁴⁰When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet. ⁴¹While they still didn’t believe for joy, and wondered, he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”

⁴²They gave him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. ⁴³He took them, and ate in front of them.

⁷Therefore, even as the Holy Spirit says, “Today if you will hear his voice, ⁸don’t harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of the trial in the wilderness,

¹¹When they heard that he was alive and had been seen by her, they disbelieved.

¹²After these things he was revealed in another form to two of them as they walked, on their way into the country. ¹³They went away and told it to the rest. They didn’t believe them, either.

²⁷Then he said to Thomas, “Reach here your finger, and see my hands. Reach here your hand, and put it into my side. Don’t be unbelieving, but believing.”

⁸Don’t harden your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness, ⁹when your fathers tempted me, tested me, and saw my work. ¹⁰Forty long years I was grieved with that generation, and said, “They are a people who err in their heart. They have not known my ways.” ¹¹Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They won’t enter into my rest.”

¹⁷Jesus, perceiving it, said to them, “Why do you reason that it’s because you have no bread? Don’t you perceive yet or understand? Is your heart still hardened? ¹⁸Having eyes, don’t you see? Having ears, don’t you hear? Don’t you remember?

¹⁹As many as I love, I reprove and chasten. Be zealous therefore, and repent.

¹⁵while it is said, “Today if you will hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts, as in the rebellion.”

¹⁶For who, when they heard, rebelled? Wasn’t it all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? ¹⁷With whom was he displeased forty years? Wasn’t it with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the wilderness? ¹⁸To whom did he swear that they wouldn’t enter into his rest, but to those who were disobedient? ¹⁹We see that they weren’t able to enter in because of unbelief.

^20[+] Then he began to denounce the cities in which most of his mighty works had been done, because they didn’t repent.
