Mark 13:12

²¹“Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.

⁵²For from now on, there will be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. ⁵³They will be divided, father against son, and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against her mother; mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law, and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

⁴The best of them is like a brier. The most upright is worse than a thorn hedge. The day of your watchmen, even your visitation, has come; now is the time of their confusion. ⁵Don’t trust in a neighbor. Don’t put confidence in a friend. With the woman lying in your embrace, be careful of the words of your mouth! ⁶For the son dishonors the father, the daughter rises up against her mother, the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.

²¹I will call for a sword against him to all my mountains,” says the Lord GOD. “Every man’s sword will be against his brother.

¹⁶You will be handed over even by parents, brothers, relatives, and friends. They will cause some of you to be put to death.

¹⁰Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
