Mark 10:20

³¹They come to you as the people come, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but don’t do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their gain. ³²Behold, you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they don’t do them.

⁶concerning zeal, persecuting the assembly; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, found blameless.

⁵holding a form of godliness but having denied its power. Turn away from these, also.

²⁰The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”

¹¹The Pharisee stood and prayed by himself like this: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of men: extortionists, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. ¹²I fast twice a week. I give tithes of all that I get.’

⁹I was alive apart from the law once, but when the commandment came, sin revived and I died.

²⁹But he, desiring to justify himself, asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”

¹⁴“‘Moreover I will make you a desolation and a reproach among the nations that are around you, in the sight of all that pass by.

²Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways. As a nation that did righteousness, and didn’t forsake the ordinance of their God, they ask of me righteous judgments. They delight to draw near to God.

⁸Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings.
