Matthew 24:16

²¹Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let those who are in the middle of her depart. Let those who are in the country not enter therein. ²²For these are days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

¹⁵When the morning came, then the angels hurried Lot, saying, “Get up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.” ¹⁶But he lingered; and the men grabbed his hand, his wife’s hand, and his two daughters’ hands, the LORD being merciful to him; and they took him out, and set him outside of the city. ¹⁷It came to pass, when they had taken them out, that he said, “Escape for your life! Don’t look behind you, and don’t stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed!”

⁷By faith Noah, being warned about things not yet seen, moved with godly fear,^[+] prepared a ship for the saving of his house, through which he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

²⁰Those who feared the LORD’s word among the servants of Pharaoh made their servants and their livestock flee into the houses. ²¹Whoever didn’t respect the LORD’s word left his servants and his livestock in the field.

³A prudent man sees danger and hides himself; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it.

¹¹When the army of the Chaldeans had withdrawn from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh’s army, ¹²then Jeremiah went out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to receive his portion there, in the middle of the people.

¹“Flee for safety, you children of Benjamin, out of the middle of Jerusalem! Blow the trumpet in Tekoa and raise up a signal on Beth Haccherem, for evil looks out from the north with a great destruction.
