Luke 22:46

⁴⁰When he was at the place, he said to them, “Pray that you don’t enter into temptation.”

⁶So the ship master came to him, and said to him, “What do you mean, sleeper? Arise, call on your God!^[+] your God^[+] will notice us, so that we won’t perish.”

³⁴“So be careful, or your hearts will be loaded down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that day will come on you suddenly. ³⁵For it will come like a snare on all those who dwell on the surface of all the earth. ³⁶Therefore be watchful all the time, praying that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

⁴Give no sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids. ⁵Free yourself, like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, like a bird from the snare of the fowler. ⁶Go to the ant, you sluggard. Consider her ways, and be wise; ⁷which having no chief, overseer, or ruler, ⁸provides her bread in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. ⁹How long will you sleep, sluggard? When will you arise out of your sleep? ¹⁰A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep— ¹¹so your poverty will come as a robber, and your scarcity as an armed man.
