Luke 12:31

³³But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

⁵Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, “I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.”

⁹Oh fear the LORD, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.

¹¹God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have you asked for riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, ¹²behold, I have done according to your word. Behold, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has been no one like you before you, and after you none will arise like you. ¹³I have also given you that which you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that there will not be any among the kings like you for all your days.

²⁷Don’t work for the food which perishes, but for the food which remains to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For God the Father has sealed him.”

⁸For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.

¹¹For the LORD God is a sun and a shield. The LORD will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.

²⁵I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread.

³Trust in the LORD, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture.

³¹What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
